NEW ECONOMICAL FIBRE RECOVERY

  • A new compact pressure screen
  • New type of accurate reject flow control system

In conventional systems a controlled handling of small rejects flows has been problematic. If the screen and reject pipe is very small they will easily be plugged. Now this problem has been solved and more economical fibre recovery system is available.

The new solution is based on TamScreen pressure screen and on a pumping reject controller PikkuHilja.

TamScreen TS02 is based on construction where the feed flow comes into the screen in the front part and a sufficient reject space has been designed. This design tends to avoiding screen plugging also when using narrow slot baskets.

PikkuHilja will be capable to keep the reject flow moving even with very small flows, which are essential in effective fibre recovering. It works on displacement pump principle but the function is same as an automatic control valve. The flow can be changed by changing the revolution of the pump. Electric motors with speed control both for screen and control pump are included in the system. Rubber impeller design allows hard and soft solids transported through the pump without damage to pump

What are the advantages of TamPulping new
economical fibre recovery system?

  • High fibre yield because system has specially been designed for small controlled reject flows – The smaller flow the smaller fibre loss!
  • Low energy consumption – connected power is 50% lower than typical tailing screens. This can give annual savings up to 10 000 EUR compared with conventional tailing screens.
  • Low total investment because the machinery is simple and small.
  • Low total investment because the system works stand-alone and neither flow meters nor other complicated instrumentation is needed.
